Product Details

The Acala (Fudo Myoo) is the guardian deity for those born in the Year of the Rooster. Acala wields the three-pronged vajra sword with an angry expression, cutting through difficulties and challenges. With a ritualistic rope (vajra noose), he binds and subdues evil spirits and negative energies. He purifies all worldly desires with the flames of the Karura bird. It's believed that Acala, through his boundless vows, bestows various blessings upon those who sincerely pray to him. With his absolute protective power and stern yet compassionate nature, he guides you toward happiness.

According to a belief, individuals are influenced by Earth's rotational motion from the moment they are born. The Chinese zodiac consists of Ten Heavenly Stems (jia, yi, bing, ding, wu, ji, geng, xin, ren, gui) and Twelve Earthly Branches (zi, chou, yin, mao, chen, si, wu, wei, shen, you, xu, hai), forming a 60-year cycle. This system has been used for calendars, time, directions, and more since ancient times. Each combination of Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches corresponds to a guardian deity. The reason that these guardian deities are believed to influence one's fortune is rooted in this concept.

Notably famous examples include Hideyoshi Toyotomi's "Sannen Daikokuten" and Kenshin Uesugi's "Nekozuka Bishamon-ten." Many feudal warlords of the Warring States period prayed to guardian deities and held sacred images as symbols of their faith. This practice was believed to bring them victory and success in battle. From such instances, it's evident that having a sacred image as a personal guardian and lifelong protector is an effective means to enhance fortune. Many people might ponder over which sacred image to choose as their guardian. While selecting an image based on your family's tradition is good, it's even more fitting to choose the guardian deity associated with your zodiac sign, as it is believed to protect your destiny and well-being in the most suitable way.
