This statue is a replica of the original statue in the Buddhist temple Hobodaiin Gantokuji in Kyoto, Japan. The original statue is designated as a Japanese national treasure and was built during the early days of the Heian period (794-1185 or 794-1192)
This statue at the Hobodai-in Gantoku Temple is said to depict Nyoirin Kannon but this is yet to be verified. Under its feet are the Four Heavenly Kings, the watchers of the four ordinal directions
