This is a modern reinterpretation of the renowned work "Bishamonten" by the master sculptor Unkei, crafted by contemporary sculptor Yoshisada Ishihara. Known for his powerful creations such as the Acala deity, we dared to request Mr. Ishihara, and he brought to life the statue of Bishamonten. The process took approximately two months, and during this time, he meticulously recreated the strength, intensity, and realistic form characteristic of Unkei's works. This masterpiece, achieved only by Mr. Ishihara, truly showcases his utmost dedication and effort.
