The incense stand, made with a sense of weight and presence from Nanbu ironware in Iwate Prefecture, features a three-dimensional structure with linear design elements inspired by origami. It combines the texture of cast iron, resulting in a modern yet distinctly Japanese expression.
Additionally, it can be enjoyed not only for observing the burning of incense but also as an incense clock to sense the passage of time when using incense. Each scale represents approximately 10 minutes, and each stick burns for about 30 minutes.
