Umeyoshido, with a history spanning 360 years, has developed this product in collaboration with KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN, led by industrial designer Mr. Ken Okuyama, known as "the first non-Italian to design a Ferrari." They share the desire to pass on the traditional "Japanese fragrance culture" to the next era.
This is an agarwood incense that abundantly blends rare and premium agarwood. Agarwood has been considered as valuable as gold, to the extent that it's been said to be worth several times more than gold in the present day.
The incense stand is made of Nanbu ironware from Iwate Prefecture. Its modern, three-dimensional design takes inspiration from the plum emblem, combining the texture of cast iron with gold leaf to create an elegant and substantial design.
The product is packaged in a luxurious vermilion-lacquered box featuring the gold logos of KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN and Umeyoshido. The back of the box lid bears a serial number.
Please note that, due to the use of gold leaf, there is a possibility of peeling and discoloration over time. Also, this product is available in limited quantities and will be discontinued once sold out.
